One day the hare made fun of the tortoise because he walked very slowly and could not run fast. The tortoise and the hare decided to have a race. The hare ran very fast. The tortoise walked fast but was far behind the hare.The hare decided to sleep for a little while because he was sure that the tortoise would not catch up with him. The tortoise reached the spot where the hare was fast asleep. He continued to walk as fast as he could and reached the finish line. The hare woke up and ran as fast as he could. But the tortoise had won the race.
