Factors affecting Weather

Weather is affected by sun, clouds, wind and rain.

          Sun

We enjoy sitting in the sun in the winter, but we prefer

to be indoors in the summer. This is because the sun is

comfortable in the winter but quite hot in the summer.
                                                                                                     Sun
Even throughout the day, sunlight is pleasant in the morning and evening,

but extremely hot at noon because it is straight on us.

                                   Wind

The wind blows gently and steadily, creating a breeze.
We get both land and sea breezes near seashores.

Storms are formed when strong winds combine with

                   Wind rain, thunder and lightning.

          Clouds

Certain days are cloudy. Cloudy days are cool, and

cloudy nights are warm because clouds act as a blanket.

They block sunlight during the day, keeping the days
cool. But, they trap the warmth that we receive during

the day, making the night warm. Clouds

                                   Rain

Rainy weather is cold and humid. When it rains, the
days grow cooler, but the moisture in the air increases

the humidity. We sweat less in humid conditions, so we

Rain feel warmer on such days.

Amazing Vincent Joseph Schaefer an American chemist and
Facts meteorologist developed cloud seeding. Cloud seeding is
a weather modification technique that involves spraying
chemicals into clouds to condense tiny particles into larger
                       raindrops. Vincent Joseph Schafer
