friends,” Tara said.

She gave them all some chocolates.

In the evening, Tara gave her friends a grand party.

Mother made a big cake.

Then she put six candles on it and
lighted them.

Tara blew out the candles and cut

the cake.

All her friends sang the birthday song.

Then they gave her many presents.

They ate cakes, chips, sandwiches and ice-creams.

They sang, danced and played many games.

After the party, Tara opened the gift wraps.

There were dolls, games,

pencil boxes, some story books What gifts did Tara get
from her friends?
and picture books. And

there was a lovely watch too!

It was from mummy and daddy.

Tara was very happy.

She kissed her parents and said, “Thank you.”
