Neha packed some chips,
cakes, biscuits and
sandwiches for the picnic.
But she was late to school as usual.
When she reached school there was no one there!
The bus had left with her teacher and her friends.
Neha did not go for the picnic.
She came home feeling very sad.
She cried a lot. Neha’s mother said, What did Neha do
“Don’t cry dear. Let’s go to a park.” after she came home?
Neha went to the park and played a lot.
Her mother bought her an ice-cream.
Neha was happy.
The next day, Neha went to school on time.
She was never late to school again.
And do you know what her teacher said?
She said, “Neha, you’re really a very sweet little child.”
