Chotu is looking at a picture book.
It is about snakes.
Chotu’s father is telling him about the different
kinds of snakes.
Father : Look at this. This is the king cobra.
It is a very dangerous snake. And
this is the tiger snake. It is very
poisonous.
Which snake is very dangerous?
Chotu : Are all snakes poisonous, daddy?
Father : No, most of the snakes are non-poisonous. Only a few of them are
poisonous.
Chotu : What’s this, daddy?
Father : This is a python. It is very long
and big. And look at this. This is
the Anaconda. It is perhaps the
longest snake in the world.
Chotu : What do snakes eat, daddy?
Father : They eat rats, small animals, insects, frogs
and fish. Some snakes eat other small snakes.
