Long, long, ago, there lived in Arabia, a poor tailor. His name was Mustafa. He had a
son named Aladdin. Aladdin was a clever boy, but he was very lazy. He did not obey his
parents. He wasted all his time playing with his friends. Mustafa was worried about
his son. In the course of time, Mustafa fell ill and died. But Aladdin did not change his
ways.
