The thieves were too shocked to say anything. They fell at Tenali Raman’s feet and begged

          for his forgiveness. Tenali Raman took them to the king’s court and told them to promise

          that they would never steal again.

          When the king came to know how Tenali Raman had caught the thieves, he rewarded him
          with many gifts.
