Arrow-Puffin-3_Semester-1 Maths 1072. Write the number in short.40 hundreds + 2 tens + 7 ones = 3. If you rearrange the digits 7, 5, 8, 9, what is the largest possible number you can create? What is the smallest?Aim: To explore the formation of a 4-digit even and odd number.Requirements: A bowl with two sets of number slips with 0 to 9 written on them.Steps:1. Divide the class into two teams.2. Make some slips of paper with the digits from 0 to 9 written on them. Fold and keep them in a bowl.3. Each team takes turns and picks 4 slips. They then form all possible 4-digit even numbers using the digits on their slips.4. The teams get 2 points for each correct number formed by them.5. Repeat the activity as long as time allows. In the next round, ask them to form the odd numbers.6. The team that gets the maximum points at the end is the winner.Maths Lab Activity Experimental LearningWrite down all the numbers from 1001 to 1999 that have the same digits in the thousands place and units place. How many such numbers are there? Explore patterns if you can find any.Let%u2019s Explore Experiential LearningSolving math problems gives our brain a good workout.Values for Life Life Skills and ValuesTeacher%u2019s NoteEncourage students to explore the concept of rounding as a practical tool for estimation in daily life.
