Why should children go to school?
We need good education to learn any type of work. School teaches us several
things that help us become better people and prepare us for life. Every child
in our country has right to get education in schools.
Many children in our society are unable to attend school. Some of them
come from very poor families and have to help their parents to run the
family. They work in houses of other people as domestic helpers. Some of
them work in factories or restaurants. A few children work in stores and
offices.
Some children work with explosives or make matchsticks, which are
extremely dangerous.
Our government has set up policies to improve their condition. A law
preventing child labour has been passed.
