The youngest of them flew fast and
went ahead of all the others.

It said, “I can see some

food down there.

Let’s go and eat it.”

The pigeons looked

down and saw

some foodgrains

scattered on the

want,” said the leader of the flock.

The pigeons landed under the tree and began to peck at the food
grains.

But all of a sudden, a big net fell over them. All the

pigeons were trapped in it.

“We are all caught in a trap,” said their leader.

“What shall we do now?” cried the pigeons.

The next moment, they saw a hunter coming

towards them. He was carrying a big gun in his hand. He

saw all the pigeons and said, “It’s indeed a good catch. I

will have a nice dinner tonight.”

“We must do something before he kills us,”

said the leader of the flock.

“Yes, we must somehow try to get out of

this net,” said the others.
