All the children are clapping and singing. They are very excited and
happy. It’s going to be a day of fun and frolic.

They reach the zoo by ten o’clock.

The teacher buys the entry tickets

          and takes the children inside.

           • What are the children
               doing as the bus is
               moving?
           • What time do the
               children reach the
               zoo?

“Come here, children. Look at these monkeys,” the teacher says.

“Teacher, can I give them some bananas?” Anu asks.

“Yes, you may. But don’t go too close to them. Where is

          Rohit?”

“There he is. He is making funny faces at the

          chimpanzee!”

“Rohit, don’t tease animals,” says the teacher.

“Come, let’s go and see the tigers.”

Now the children are looking at the

                                                            tigers.

The tigers are walking up and down in

their cages. They are hungry. The zoo

keeper is opening a small door. He is

                                                            placing some meat
What are the tigers doing in
                                                            inside. their cages?
