“We enjoyed that!” said Mona.

“Shall we climb that hill there?” asked Prem.

“Yes, let’s go,” said Mona and Anu. They climbed the hill along with Uncle Pai.

“This is a very high hill, isn’t it?” said Anu.

“Yes, it is. We are at the top,” said Prem.

“Look at the sea. It looks beautiful, doesn’t it?” said Anu.

“But I can’t see the waves. It’s very quiet here. I want to play with the waves,” said Prem.

“All right. Let’s go down. You could have a swim in the sea too,” said Uncle Pai.

The children quickly climbed down the hill and went towards the sea.

“Enjoy yourself, but be careful,” said Uncle Pai.

”Okay uncle, we’ll be careful,” they said.

The children ran towards the waves. Their dog, Snoopy followed them. Uncle Pai

rested in a cool, shady place while the children played. They had lots of fun. The big
waves came up to their necks and almost lifted them up.

The brave dog ran into the water and swam towards Prem. He finally managed to
reach him. He caught Prem’s shorts between his teeth and pulled him safely back to

the shore !

Uncle Pai went up to Prem and said, “Oh dear, you should have been careful. Thank
God, you’re safe!”

“I am sorry, uncle,” Prem said and burst into tears.

“But you shouldn’t have gone so far, Prem,” said Anu.
