Father: He is Neil Armstrong. He was the first man to set foot on the moon.
Rahul: But how did he go to the moon?
Father: He went in a spacecraft called Apollo, along with two other astronauts on
16th July, 1969.
Rahul: How long did they take to reach there?

Father: They landed there after four days on July 20,1969.
Rahul: How much time did they spend on the moon, daddy?
Father: They had only two hours of exploration time on the moon. They returned
home on July 24.
Rahul: Daddy, the dress they are wearing looks strange. What are they wearing?
Father: It’s called a spacesuit. It protects an astronaut from the dangers of space during
flights. It also supplies air for breathing.
Rahul: Why did they have to carry air with them? When did Neil
Armstrong and his
Father: That’s because there’s no air on the moon. fellow astronauts land
on the moon?
Rahul: So, there’s no life on the moon?
Father: You’re right. There is no air and no water. There are no
plants. Nothing at all there to make it possible for us to live.
Rahul: Then what did the astronauts find there?
