          A.  Verbs – will and will not
              We use ‘will’ and ‘will not’ to talk about something we expect to happen or not happen

               in the future.
              Examples:  He will help me.

                            He will not (won’t) help me.

              Now complete the sentences with will or will not.


               1.  The sky looks clear. It ______________________ rain.


               2.  I feel sleepy. I think I ______________________ go to bed.

               3.  Exams are coming. I ______________________ study hard.


               4.  If the weather is bad, we ______________________ go out.


               5.  The teacher ______________________ explain the lesson again if you don’t understand.


               6.  You are not studying. You ______________________ pass the exam.

               7.  The children ______________________ wear coats because it is cold.


               8.  Don’t play in the rain. You ______________________ get wet.


              9.    It is 7 o’ clock. The bus ______________________ come any time now.


              10.  She is full. She ______________________ eat anything now.

          B.  Adjectives of Quantity

              Adjectives of quantity show the quantity of something.

              We use some, a few, many for things we can count.
              We use some, a little, a lot of for things we cannot count.


              Underline () the right word.

               1.  There are (many / a lot of) books in the library.

               2.  Could you please wait for (a few / a little) minutes?

               3.  The merchant had (some / a few) money with him.

               4.  There is (a little / a few) milk in the jug.
