          A.  Active and Passive Voice
              A sentence in active voice begins with the person or thing that does the action.

              A sentence in passive voice begins with the person or thing that receives the action.
              Example :   The gardener is watering the plants. (Active sentence in present

                           continuous tense)
                             The plants are being watered by the gardener. (Passive sentence in present

                           continuous tense)

              Change the sentences to passive voice.

              1.   The mechanic is repairing the car.

                   ________________________________________________________________________________________
              2.  The principal is distributing the prizes.

                   ________________________________________________________________________________________

              3.  They are serving the food to the guests.

                   ________________________________________________________________________________________

              4.  He is painting the door.

              Not only... but also is a type of conjunction used to connect two ideas that add to each

          other.
              Example :  She is a singer. She is a dancer.
                           She is not only a singer but also a dancer.
