“I stay ten miles away with the Carringtons. I heard
wolves and ran in the forest and lost my way.”
“Oh! We know the Carringtons. We met last
year at Christmas farewell, said Letitia.
"Very well, come in," Peggy said.
“Thank you. Oh! Can I get some water to
drink?”
“Well, alright!”
When Peggy went in to get water, Jack
asked, “Aren't you Letitia, my neighbour?”
“And you are Jack Peabody!” Letitia asked. “How did you get here?”
“Through a book - a Green Book with a lock.”
“A book with a lock?”
“I got here through a Green Door, which also had a lock.” I landed in my great, great,
grandfather's home, for months now.
“I too ended up in my great, great grandfather's home for months now.”
“I have never worked so hard all my life,” Jack said.
“Same here! My hands are sore with all the work.”
“We have taken our life back home so much for granted", said Jack.
“How I long to go back!”
“I saw a book with a lock. I am going to find the key
very soon,” Jack said.
“Did you also see a Green Door here?” Jack asked.
“Yes!” said Letitia.
That night Letitia sneaked into the attic and took
the key out of the box. She ran to the North Wall
from outside the house. With trembling hands,
she opened the lock and entered her house.
“I am back, she cried out in joy when she saw her
mother and father.”
“Back from?”
