B. Unfulfilled Conditional Sentences
Read the sentence below.
● If he had accepted failure, there would not have been a KFC today. [He didn’t accept
failure, so we have a KFC today]
This sentence refers to a situation in which something might have taken place, but did not
because a conditional was not fulfilled.
This type of sentence is called as an unfulfilled conditional sentence.
It is formed thus:
