Chandu: Look, the man has fallen off the bike!
Stranger: Yes, he seems to be injured. Let’s help him.
Chandu: Let’s shift him onto the footpath.
Stranger: We must do it carefully.
Chandu: He is bleeding.
I have a first aid kid. Let us give him first aid to stop bleeding.
Stranger: Hope there’s no fracture.
Chandu: Doesn’t look like it.
(They dress the wound)
Stranger: Let’s give him some water to drink. Is he conscious?
Chandu: Yes. He is aware of what’s happening. But he seems to be in great pain.
Stranger: Let’s give him a painkiller and move him to a nearby hospital.
Chandu: Sure. We can take him in my car.
Communication Skills

Creative Writing Skills
Read up another story and write it in your own words.
Classroom Interaction
What would your answers to the questions asked by the king be? Discuss in class.
Life Skills and Values
Taking revenge on someone doesn’t end your suffering or pain. If someone does wrong to you, just
move on. Revenge can make you negative. It can aggravate your emotional wounds and you end up
punishing yourself. Rather ignore or avoid the person and move forward.
