Unfortunately, deforestation and unchecked hunting has created threat to the wildlife. To protect wildlife, the government has set up 92 national parks, 492 wildlife sanctuaries and 4 biosphere reserves. Some of them are Corbett National Park, Kanha National Park, Gir Wildlife Sanctuary, Nanda Devi and Sunderban Biosphere Reserve.National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries of India
