The short trees are in the middle and shrubs at the ground level. In this way, these forests are layered in three tiers. In these type of forests, the trees do not shed their leaves in any season. They appear green throughout the year. Hence, they are called evergreen trees. The main evergreen trees are Rosewood, Mahogany and Ebony. The wood of the evergreen trees is very hard.
