Letters are most common means of communication. People write

letters to communicate. This is called postal communication or written

communication.

Means of Communication

People exchange information through communication by sending

and receiving messages. They communicate through different ways

of communicating known as means of communication. There are two
types of means of communication - Personal communication and Mass

communication.

Personal Communication

Communicating with only one person at a time is called personal

communication. It takes between two people: the sender and the receiver.

can be found in all cities, towns and villages throughout India.

Postcards, inland letters, envelopes, postage stamps etc. are used for writing

and sending letters. We can also send money orders to send money. We use

courier or speed post to send gifts, urgent messages and parcels.
