Some useful insects

          Insects help us in many ways.

          Honey bees suck nectar from flowers and collect honey

          in the beehive. We get honey from honey bees.

                                     in pollination.

                                               before it becomes a butterfly. It begins its journey as a
                                               small round egg. From the egg comes out a caterpillar,
                                               which develops into a pupa. The pupa opens, and a fully
                                               developed butterfly emerges.


                                     Silkworms give us silk. Silk is obtained from cocoons of

                                     silkworms and is used to make silk garments.




                                     Ants mix and break  down soil,

          on our food, they also contaminate it.
