Parts of the Nose
The nose contains two holes known as nostrils. The nostrils have tiny hairs. The
air we breathe is filtered through the nasal hair. It is warmed and moistened
before it enter our lungs.
The septum is the wall that separates the
nostrils and nasal passageways. Your septum cartilage
is made up of very tiny bone pieces that are
deep inside your nose, near your skull.
The septum, is made of cartilage, a flexible
material that is firmer than skin or muscle. It nostrils
is not as hard as bone, and if you press on the nasal air septum

The nasal cavity is a place behind your nose, at the centre of your face. It joins

Structure of the tongue
The tongue is a muscular organ in the mouth that is covered with a moist, pink
tissue known as the mucosa. When we eat something, the tongue combines
saliva with the food. The saliva helps to breakdown the food and swallow it.
Our tongue has taste buds which detect different tastes of food. It can sense four
tastes: sweet, salty, sour, and bitter. The taste buds give
information to the brain, and the brain tells the flavour of
the food.
