A. Articles 'a', 'an' and 'the'
The articles ‘a‘ and ‘an‘ are used with singular countable nouns. The article ‘a‘ is used before
words beginning with consonant sounds. The article ‘an‘ is used before words beginning with
vowel sounds.
The article ‘the‘ is used when you want to specify a particular noun.
Use ‘a‘, ‘an‘ or ‘the‘ appropriately in the sentences below.

B. Question Tags
A question tag is something which can turn a statement into a question. It is added at the end
of a statement to confirm what is being said.
Study the sentences below. The words in bold are question tags.

● She likes sweets, doesn’t she?
