A mythological story is a traditional story about characters such as deities, heroes and fanciful
creatures. It is based on a popular belief that is probably not true. It can also be based on tradition.
Some mythological stories have factual origins, while others are completely fictional. They are mostly
sacred tales that explain about the world and man’s experience. The Mahabharata and Ramayana
are Indian mythological stories.
Some common mythological creatures are gnomes, unicorns, fairies, mermaids and dragons.
Life Skills and Values
Curiosity is a natural quality in humans. It is an innate desire to explore and learn about the world
around them.
By being curious, it is possible to discover new worlds and possibilites.
