You can guess what happened after that. One day,

Pandora’s curiosity got the better of her. She could
not resist the temptation any more.

She lifted the lid of the box slowly. As she raised
it little by little, at once flew out all the bad things

in the world-envy, sorrow, hatred, disease, anger,
vices, violence, madness, old age and death to plague
                                                        humans forever.

                                                        This shocked her, and almost

                                                        immediately Pandora closed
the lid but it was too late.
She began to weep. “What have I done?” she cried. Hearing her cries,

Epimetheus rushed to her. Pandora showed him the empty box by
opening it again. But before she could shut it, a
beautiful dragonfly flew out of the box. “Who

are you?” Pandora asked. She gave Pandora a
big smile and said, “I am Hope. Thank you for
          making me free.”

Pandora had released all the ills and evils in

the world by opening the box but Hope came
to her rescue. Hope said, “Don’t worry, I will
help people survive.” Pandora was relieved.
And ofcourse, though the ills and evils in the

world troubled humans, Hope was there to
comfort them. And she made all the difference
          in the world!
