Conversation Skills
Practise this conversation with your partner.
Ravi: Hey! What are you doing?
I
Ajay: am listening to some audio lessons in English.
Ravi: But why?
I
Ajay: want to improve my speaking skills.
Ravi: But we live in a non-English speaking country. Do
you think we need it in our everyday life?
Ajay: Not immediately but in future, yes. It’s the language
of international communication. We can connect
with people from different parts of the world only if
we are good at English.
Ravi: Hmm .. I see your point.
Ajay: It’s a valuable skill that will serve us in the long run. And it opens up new opportunities.
I
Ravi: think I should focus on this. Please help me if you can.
Ajay: will be happy to help you. Let’s meet up at weekends and practise.
