The skeletal system is made up of all the bones in
our body. Ribcage
The hard framework of bones is called the skeleton.
It gives shape to our body. It protects our internal
organs like the brain, heart, lungs and kidneys.
The skull protects our brain. The ribcage protects
the heart, lungs, liver, etc. The backbone protects
the spinal cord. An adult human body’s skeletal
system is made up of 206 bones.

Know? When a baby is born, his or her body contains
approximately 300 bones. These gradually grow
to form the 206 bones found in an adult. Skeletal System

The Nervous System
Spinal cord
The system that controls all our actions, sense
of feelings and thoughts is called the nervous
system. The nervous system consists of the brain,
the spinal cord and the nerves.
The brain is the most vital organ of the nervous
system. It controls all the other organs by sending
and receiving information from all parts of the
body through the nerves. The spinal cord connects Nerves
all parts of the body to the brain.
