Our body consists of different organ systems to carry out different
functions.
The skeletal system is made up of all of the bones in our body. It gives shape
to our body.
The nervous system controls all our actions, sense of feelings and thoughts.
It consists of the brain, the spinal cord and the nerves.
The muscular system consists of muscles and helps us in the movement of
external and internal body organs.
The circulatory system circulates blood throughout our body. It consists of
the heart, blood, and blood vessels.
The respiratory system supplies oxygen to our body. It consists of the nose,
the windpipe or the trachea and the lungs.
The digestive system breaks food from complex to simpler forms. It consists
of the mouth, food pipe, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum,
and anus.
The excretory system removes waste from our body. It consists of a pair of
kidneys, a pair of lungs and the skin.
The reproductive system helps in producing young ones. H
