Many stars are bigger than the sun. Though the sun is the nearest star

          to us, it is far away from us. It takes about  8 minutes 20 seconds for the

          sunlight to reach the Earth.

          Stars shine all day and all night. We cannot see
          them during the day because the sky is too bright

          with sunlight.

          Some groups of stars form shapes in the sky. They

          are called  constellations. Winter sky is the  best

          time to observe constellations. Orion, Leo and Big

          dipper are some of the constellations.

           Amazing     Venus  is  the  hottest  planet  in  the  solar  system,  with  a  temperature  of 450

             ”   The moon appears to change its shape every night. The shapes of the moon
                 are called the phases of the moon.


             ”  The Sun is the closest star to the Earth.

             ”  Groups of stars form shapes in the sky called constellations.
