3. Friendship
Read the passages and answer the questions that follow.
Friendship is a close bond between two or more people. It is based on trust, mutual respect and
shared interests and experiences. Good friends are
there for you through thick and thin-they're the
ones you can rely on, no matter what.
Friends are an important part of life and they can
have a big impact on your happiness and well-
being. Research has even shown that having strong
social connections can help boost your immune
system, ward off heart disease, and improve your
overall health. So it's clear that friendship is good
for you-both mentally and physically. If you are
looking to make new friends, there are many ways
to do so.
You could reach out to people you know-family,
acquaintances, classmates or even neighbours. You could also attend celebrations in the family and
friends' circle and make some new friends. And it's worth it!
