Ranvir was a twelve year old boy who lived in a small village, near a forest. He lived there

with his parents. They were very poor.
His father was a woodcutter. Every day, he went to the forest to cut wood.

Ranvir went to a school that was three miles away from his village. He was a clever boy. He
worked hard and his teachers praised him. But all the boys in his class laughed at him because
he was very thin. When he played football or ran races, they made fun of him.
