A. HOUSING

After working all day, we all like
going back home. We eat, sleep,

and keep our belongings safe in our

homes. A house provides us with
shelter from the heat, rain, storms

and snow as well as protection from

animals and thieves.

Different types of houses

Houses are of different types. This could be due to the climate of the place,

the materials used to build the houses, the location where they are built

and the amount of money one wants to spend on them. Houses can be

temporary or permanent.
We see mostly pucca houses around us. These are built with bricks, cement,

iron, steel, wood and stone. People in cities, towns, and villages live in pucca

houses. Pucca houses are very strong and last for many years. They do not

get easily destroyed by strong winds or heavy rains. These are permanent

houses that cannot be moved.
