Air
All living things need air
to breathe and to live. Air
is all around us. We always
breathe air.
We can feel the air moving, but we cannot see it,
as it is invisible. Moving air is called wind.
A gentle moving air is called a breeze. A strong
moving breeze that blows fast is called a gale.
When the wind is very strong and it brings rain.
It is called a storm. It destroys trees, crops and
buildings.
What does air contain?
Air is a mixture of gases. It contains gases like nitrogen, oxygen and
carbon dioxide. All living things breathe in oxygen and breathe out
