          •  Air is needed to create fire.

          •  Air runs windmills. Windmills produce electricity and pump water.

          Water is everywhere. All living things on Earth need  water to live and

          grow. We can survive a few days without food but not without water. It is

          important for both plants and animals. Water does not have colour, odour
          and taste.

                  Know?     Water in various forms, makes up more than half of our body weight.


          Sources of Water


          Three-fourths of the Earth’s surface is covered with water. The oceans
          and the seas contain most of the water. But this water is salty. It cannot

          be used for drinking.
