We use different means of transport every day for travelling to different
places.
Transport refers to the means of travelling or carrying goods to different
places.
Depending on the distance to be travelled we choose the means of transport
such as land, rail, water and air transport.
Land transport is used by people to move from one place to another over
land.
Water transport is used to move people and goods over water bodies.
Air transport is used to go to distant locations around the world.
Some special vehicles like ambulances, fire engines, police control vehicles,
etc., are used in emergencies to save people.
