but they do not grow quickly as we get older.
Sense of Touch
The four senses – sense of sight, sense of hearing, sense of
smell and sense of taste are located in specific parts of the
body. But, the sense of touch is spread all over our body.
Skin is the organ of the sense of touch.
We feel the world around us with our skin.
Skin is the largest organ of our body. We can use the sense Skin
of touch to find out if a thing is hard or soft, rough or smooth, hot or cold,
wet or dry, sticky or slippery, pointed or flat etc.
Good Touch and Bad Touch
People touch in different ways. When your mother hugs you, you feel good.
When your father pats on your back for scoring good marks, it is a good
touch. We shake hands with our friends and hug them sometimes. When a
touch makes you feel warm, happy and comfortable, it is a good touch.
