Food habits of other Carnivores

          Pet animals like the cat and the dog lap up milk or water using their tongue.

          Some animals such as snakes, frogs and lizards

          swallow their food as a whole. They do not have

          teeth for biting and chewing food.

          Snakes have tiny teeth and they don’t chew food.

                                                  Frogs have long, sticky tongues. They expand
                                                  their tongue to trap and swallow the insects.

          mosquitoes.

          Mosquitoes  suck blood  from our body. Lady

          bird beetles live on plants and eat insects that
          damage plants.
