have sharp front teeth which help them bite the
fruits and seeds. They gnaw the food. They are
known as gnawing animals.

Carnivores
Some animals eat only the flesh of other animals. Animals that eat only
other animals are called carnivores or flesh-eating animals.
Examples - Lion, Tiger, Wolf , Crocodile.
Body features of Carnivores
Carnivores have sharp pointed front teeth that tear flesh. They also have
broad and flat grinding teeth at the back that chew the flesh and bones.
Some carnivores, such as tigers, lions, and leopards, have good eyesight
and can identify their prey from a distance. They have strong legs and sharp
claws. Their strong legs help
them to run fast and catch the
prey.

have sharp claws and strong, pointed beaks
that allow them to hold and tear their prey.
