Proper drainage and disposal of waste from

the house is called sanitation. There is a lot of

waste produced in our house.

Proper disposal of waste matter or sewage

from the house is very important. We must

keep the pipes and drains clean so that there are no blockages.

Safety and protection for disabled, children and older people

People with disabilities, children, and the elderly must be safe in the house. We

need to have large doors so that disabled persons can move around properly.

If you have someone with mobility problems, you must have a ramp at the

entrance. This will make it easy for them to enter and exit the house.

Children should be kept under close supervision when they are near water,

stairs, or open places.

We should have enough lighting in the house to prevent falls and other

accidents. Make sure that all of the rooms in the house are well-lit, especially

at night.

To prevent slips and falls in the bathroom, we should use nonslip bath mats.
