respect. In many cultures, people touch the feet of elders
to receive their blessings.
Elders should be treated with respect and dignity in their
old age as they have made significant contributions to
society throughout their lives.
Due to urbanisation, globalisation, and changes in generations, these traditional
practices changed in the present day. But, they still support cultural diversity.
