heart, lungs, stomach, liver, and kidneys, among other organs, work tirelessly
to keep us alive. If any of these organs stop working we will die.

The brain is located inside our head and is protected by the skull, a hard layer of
bones. All our body functions are controlled by the brain.
The brain receives signals from our sensory organs and
sends information to other parts of the body. It stores
information as messages. It helps us to think and learn
new things.
Our posture, balance, and movements while walking,
running, or driving are also controlled by the brain. Brain
