The stomach is like a bag and secretes  digestive  juices which  help  in the

          digestion of food. The food gets mixed thoroughly with these digestive juices to

          form a paste. It goes from our stomach to the small intestine, a long, thin tube

          where it is digested further. The digestive juices break down the food more and

          more throughout the process.

          Finally, blood absorbs the digested food through the walls of the small intestine

          and distributes it to all parts of the body. The undigested food passes into the

          large intestine and is later removed
