Think &
Answer You might have noticed a cow or a goat while they are grazing. Which type of teeth do
                      they have?

Incisors or cutting teeth are the four front flat teeth in each jaw.

They help to cut and bite the food.

          Incisor

Canines or tearing teeth are sharp pointed teeth. They are two in each

jaw, on either side of the incisors. They help to tear the food.
                                                                                                          Canine

Premolars or crushing teeth are the four broad teeth in each jaw, two on

either side of the canine. They help to crush the food.

           Premolar

Molars or grinding teeth are broader than premolars. There are six

in each jaw, three on either side of the premolars. They help to grind

          the food.
