          Enamel: The crown is covered by a very hard

          Dentine: It lies  below the  enamel. It is also
          hard but softer than enamel. It makes up the

          volume of the tooth.

          Pulp: It lies inside the dentine. It is soft and contains nerves and blood vessels.

          Blood vessels provide nutrition to the tooth.

          Root: It is the longer part of the tooth and is fixed to the jaw bone inside the

          gums. It helps the tooth to stay in its proper place.

          Care of the teeth

          We must take care of our teeth as we will not be able to
