Aerial Animals
Animals that fly and spend most of the time in the air are called aerial animals.
Most of the birds and some insects are animals that fly in the air. Crows, pigeons,
sparrows etc. are aerial animals. Butterflies, dragonflies, grasshoppers etc. are
aerial insects.

Different animals have different habits, living and behaviour.
Shy Animals
Some animals are afraid of humans and avoid them. They come to get food when
there is silence and no one is around. They run away due to fear. Rabbits, mice,
squirrels, crows, and sparrows are naturally shy animals.
Friendly animals
Some animals are friendly. They are not afraid of people. They respond if we
show love to them. Dogs and cats are very friendly pet animals. Farm animals
like ducks, goats and pigs are friendly. Dolphins are very friendly sea animals.

Nocturnal Animals
Some animals come out only at night. They are called nocturnal animals. Bats,
rats, owls, foxes, and cockroaches become active at night. They come out at night
to hunt for food, to protect themselves from predators and to avoid the heat of
the day. They find a safe place to rest for the night.
