Our responsibility towards animals
Animals need to be loved and cared for. We should learn from animals how to
live together and help each other in all situations. The bond between humans
and animals is much more than just providing food and shelter.
Many animals are endangered. They are in danger of disappearing forever. We
have to conserve and safeguard their habitats so that future generations can
enjoy them. Some endangered animals are Asiatic lions, Bengal tigers, and snow
leopards.

responsibility to protect animals for a better future. Otherwise, the human race
cannot survive without the help of animals.
Amazing Animals with feathers usually dislike being petted. Animals with fur enjoy being

Let’s Recall
Animals change their body structure, food habits and behaviour to survive in
their environment. This is called adaptation.
Based on their adaptations animals are classified as terrestrial, aquatic,
amphibians, arboreal and aerial.
Animals may be shy or friendly.
Animals that come out only at night are called nocturnal animals.
Animals that are found during the day are called diurnals.
Most of the animals live and move in groups.
