7. Animals and their
Adaptations
Animals are found almost everywhere on the Earth. They don’t live in houses like
us. Animals can live on land, in water or in air. The environment or the place
where animals live is called their habitat.
Different animals live in different regions. We can find them in every kind of
habitat - in high mountains, grasslands, hot deserts, cold regions, oceans and
seas.
