Forests are one of the most important renewable

earth’s total area is covered by forests. We get many

different products and services from forests. We also

use many forest products in our daily lives. Forests

protect us from floods, drought and soil erosion.

There is an abundance of renewable resources found

in forests. They provide various products like gum,

resins, medicines, honey, pulp, bamboo, timber, firewood and raw materials

for wood-based industries. Producing and utilizing these materials reduces

energy consumption gas emissions, the disposal of hazardous waste, and even
the creation of new jobs.
