          Soil

The loose top layer of the Earth on which plants

grow is called soil. The formation of soil is a long and

continuous process. Soil is formed when rocks break

up, and plants and animals start decaying. The process

of breaking up of rocks by the

action of water, wind and sunlight Soil

          Non-renewable Resources

The natural resources which are limited in supply and do not last forever are

called non-renewable resources. Millions of years are required for natural

processes to regenerate these resources. Coal, petroleum, minerals and

natural gas are some non-renewable resources.
